Welcome to Rob Plato Photography. Rob Plato is a professional photographer based out of Fernie, British Columbia, Canada. He has been an avid outdoor and travel photographer for over a decade. In 2005 he attended a full time professional photography diploma program at "Focal Point" in Vancouver. After completing the program he now runs a photography program at "Baldface Cat Skiing" in Nelson, B.C. Canada in the winter months. He's busy shooting weddings, commercial, and outdoor/travel images the rest of the year. Rob's work has been published in various newspapers and magazines and he's done assignment work like shooting the "Whistler Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival" and catalogues for companies like "Jack Wolfskin" clothing. He is always shooting to build a stock base of images available for all uses and can be available on an assignment basis for commercial, editorial, event or of course outdoor assignments.

Finally ! It's been a lang haul. Since graduating from "Focal Point' in Vancouver I've waiting to get this online. I am looking forward to a long career of shooting all over the world. Finaly now I have a way to publish my own work and be in constant control of my own site. Look for changes like a weekly photo section and other added images/blogs. Thanks for looking and keep on looking.
