I now make my home in Fernie, B.C and have done for the past 10 years. After over 10 years traveling all over South America, Asia, New Zealand,Turkey and other fascinating countries between seasons working in the ski industry I decided my roll in life should be that of a photographer. I went to photography school in Vancouver for a year then returned to Fernie. Taking pictures was always a motivator for me when making the decision to travel and it lends itself well to my experience in the cat skiing industry. I am looking forward to another season shooting skiing etc. in and around Fernie and many more years seaching for those special places and moments. Capturing them with film or pixel.

The power of visual media, mainly the still photograph, is more important than ever in the roll of creating understanding among us all. It is universal, timeless and speaks in all languages. This ability of photography to inspire, teach and even sway popular belief is part of what interests and motivates me. Thanks for looking at my work even if only for your own interest. It's always nice to know there others besides myself looking at them !
